My name is Victoria.
I use all pronouns. I’m a PhD student at McMaster University studying sociocultural anthropology. My research is on queer communities and our relationships with the state. My PhD research looks at how polyamorous families navigate state contexts.
My MA research was on X gender markers on government-issued IDs and how these have affected nonbinary people in Ontario. I have also written on trans inclusion in sport , AR technology and its influence on relationships to place, and TikTok witchcraft (forthcoming).
